Who we are

Find for Event is operated under the domain findforevent.com. In these terms “we” and “us” mean the operator of that domain, and “the platform” means the findforevent.com website.

If you list a business here, the Vendor Agreement applies to you as well and takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.

The language of these terms

We publish these terms in English, Armenian and Russian. English is the language we draft in and translate from; if a translation contains an error that changes the meaning of a provision, the English version prevails for that provision.

What Find for Event is

Find for Event is a discovery marketplace that connects people planning an event with independent professionals — photographers, venues, caterers, musicians, florists and others. We publish listings and make them searchable.

We are not a party to any agreement between a host and a vendor, we do not act as an agent for either side, and we do not vet, endorse or supervise the businesses listed here beyond the moderation described below.

Using the marketplace

You may browse, search and contact vendors freely. In return, use the platform lawfully and honestly: no misrepresentation, no scraping or automated bulk collection of listings, no attempt to disrupt the service or gain unauthorised access to it, and no use of the contact details published here to send unsolicited marketing.

You must be at least 18 to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done through your account; tell us at hello@findforevent.com if you think someone else has access to it.

Vendor listings and what they mean

Listings are written by the vendors themselves. Some listings were created by our team for businesses that had not yet signed up; those carry a visible “Added by Find for Event” badge until the business takes the listing over.

New and edited listing content is reviewed before it appears publicly. Review is a check against our content standards, not a verification of the vendor's claims, qualifications, licences or insurance. Make your own checks before you commit.

Reviews

Where reviews are enabled, they are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not ours. We publish them as written, subject to our content standards, and we do not verify each one individually.

We remove reviews that are unlawful or abusive, and we do not remove a review merely because a business dislikes it. Vendors may reply publicly.

Our content and yours

The platform itself — its design, text, software, and the Find for Event name and logo — belongs to us. You may not copy or reuse it beyond ordinary browsing, linking and sharing.

Listing content belongs to the vendor who uploaded it. Do not reuse a vendor's photographs or text without their permission.

Bookings and payments

Bookings, contracts and payments are arranged directly between hosts and vendors. Find for Event does not process payments and takes no commission. Any dispute about a booking, a deposit or the quality of a service must be resolved between the parties to it.

Before you commit money, agree the terms in writing with the vendor. We are glad to hear about a bad experience — it informs how we moderate — but we cannot recover a payment we never handled.

Links and embedded content

Listings link out to vendors' own websites and social profiles. Those sites are not ours, and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or how they handle your data.

Some pages embed content served by other companies: maps from Google on vendor profiles and the churches page, and videos from YouTube in vendor portfolios. When such a page loads, those companies receive your IP address and browser information and may set their own cookies, under their own terms and privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Settings pages explain this in more detail.

Availability and changes to the service

We may change, add or withdraw features, and the platform may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.

Suspending accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used to harass vendors or visitors, or that is used to collect data from the platform in bulk. Where it is practical and lawful we tell you why.

Disclaimer and liability

Find for Event is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep information accurate and current, but listings are written by the vendors themselves, and we do not guarantee the quality, availability, legality or conduct of any vendor.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from agreements made between hosts and vendors, or from your reliance on information published in a listing, and our total liability to you for any claim connected with the platform is limited to AMD 100,000.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and liability for fraud. If you deal with us as a consumer, your mandatory rights under the law of your country are unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Each version carries the date it took effect. Material changes are announced on the site, and account holders are asked to accept the new version; continuing to use Find for Event after a change means you accept it.

General

If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in force. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we may still enforce it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another company as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale of the business, provided your rights are not reduced.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia, and its courts have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, where that law applies and cannot be excluded by agreement.
